Profit Analysis Screen

Use this screen to view workfile profit analysis information, cycle time, and exceptions.

Red indicates the actual value is under the threshold parameter.
Green indicate the actual value is over the threshold parameter.
Black indicates the actual value is equal to the threshold parameter.

Description of fields in the Views panel

Field Label Description
Profit Analysis Selecting this option displays the Profit Analysis pane. The information in this pane are broken out by summary, parts and sublet, labor, and other charge categories.
Cycle Time Select this option to view cycle time and efficiency information.
Exceptions Select this option to view all workfile related documents (e.g., labor assignments, purchase orders, invoices, and credit memos).
Print This opens the Print dialog window that allows you to select a printer. This option prints a hard copy of the profit analysis information in report form.
Print Preview Select this option to view the profit analysis information in report form on your screen.
Summary This section displays the profit analysis in group summary for parts, labor, and other categories.
Parts and Sublet This section displays the profit analysis by part type including the category total.
Labor This section displays the profit analysis by part type including the category total.
Other This section displays the profit analysis by other type including the category total (e.g. towing, storage, EPC charges).
Account Name This column lists the category group or category detail by category account type.
Sales $ This is the actual list price amount as displayed in the estimate.
Target GP % This value is set up in the repair management section of your repair facility profile for sales account by account type (e.g., parts, labor, miscellaneous).
Target GP $ This value is the sales amount multiplied by the target GP percentage.
Actual Cost $ This value is the actual dollar amount cost of the category type.
Actual GP %

This is calculated by subtracting the sales dollar amount from the total cost amount and then divided by the sales dollar amount.

For example: Sales – Actual Cost / Sales = Actual Gross Profit %.

Actual GP $ This is the actual cost dollar amount subtracted by the sales dollar amount.
